The Flamenco Dancer

Flamenco is a Spanish Folk dance from southern spain (Andalucia region) - I had a chance to watch this during my recent trip to Spain and was speechless after watching the wonderful dancing... Here is a little poem on the Flamenco dancer

She held herself with style

And had a lovely charming smile

She clicked her fingers and tapped her feet

She shook her hips to the beat

She twirled around with flair

And had a big red flower in her hair

She had a frilly black skirt

And a bright red shirt

She lifted her skirt and twirled around

She clapped her hands and stomped on the ground

Her dance was amazing

That no-one could help gazing!

 The audience was just astounded

And I was completely dumbfounded!!!

THE SEASONS FAIRY

It was a chilly night in winter

Almost time for spring

 It was then that I saw the season fairy

I saw her creeping in

She lifted up her hands

And used her magic powers

She turned all the drooping plants

Into fragrant blossoms and flowers!

She woke up all the bears and squirrels

From their hibernation

I could not believe my eyes

It was such a huge fascination

She turned the angry blizzard

Into a relaxing, cool breeze

She grew mouth-watering fruits

On the snow topped trees

It was then that she had to go

I really would miss her

But I knew that she would be back

Just in time for summer!

I LOVE SPRING!

A LOVING FAMILY

A loving family is full of kind and thoughtful people

Who think the world about you

They are all very unique

Like your family, there are very few!

They help you overcome your difficulties

When you are in trouble

And your worries go away

As fast as the pop of a bubble!

They make you laugh

They make you smile

They make your face bright

All the time!

I think that I am who I am

Because of the kindness of my family

They have always been so thoughtful

To ME!

My family is perfect

Really its true

And my life will  be incomplete

without you!

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING FAMILY!

I had a dream

I had a dream

Full of fame

I had a dream

No ordinary game

 

I was chief governor

Ruler of the land

My friend was chief minister

This is what we planned

 

To make our city green

Make it green and clean

Trees are everywhere

Fragrance fills the air

 

We stopped some of construction

Built more charities

The old, poor, homeless girls and boys

Were very very pleased!

 

Smiles and laughs filled the whole city,

It was all looking very pretty

And finally the city of Bangalore

Was a garden city once more!

I love the USA!

United States of America,

A sunny place for holiday,

United States of America,

I came here on first of May!

I was very happy to see my family,

Kuppuswami & my brother Prahlad Kutti!

US has nice stores and lakes,

Believe me its no mistake!

United States of America

Is one of the best places to stay!

That is I why I came here 

For a month long holiday!

The Clouds

In every size, in every shape
A flock of sheep, a bunch of grapes

Cinderella’s slipper, Aladdin’s lamp,

A bouquet of flowers, a skateboard ramp

An elephant and a rabbit too,

A little kitty going mew mew mew 

The passing clouds they come and go

Lovely shapes sway to and fro
 

On my face a lovely smile

After watching clouds for a while
 

They are so fluffy and milk white,

I wish I could sit on one and take a ride!

 

The sky is so bright because of the clouds,

To have them on Earth it makes me very very proud!

Isn’t it breathtaking, The beautiful view

Why don’t you watch clouds with me too!

I saw him last night

Walking alone

 In a terrible fright

 

That cute little puppy

He was so sweet,

Such tiny paws

And furry feet

 

That cute little puppy

His eyes so bright

His fur so soft

As black as midnight!
